Is There Such a Thing as a 10-minute Task?

Image
Currently there are 6 and a half school days left and with each passing hour I feel like I am looking more and more like the character Anxiety from Inside Out 2 (if you haven’t seen it yet then I thoroughly recommend). I have so many tabs open of all the things that I think I need to get done before summer starts because summer is for the smalls, and I intend to try and make it as fun as possible for them which means I need to get a few steps ahead. Luckily, the smalls are having a mini staycation at Nanny and Grandads for the first week, so I have a little more time. Thank-you! So, with time or lack of it at the forefront of my mind I was slightly relieved when the school mentioned I could skip the last two Mondays of term due to some fun end of term activities (I listen to the children read in my eldest’s class for an hour every Monday). With my ‘to do list’ written and confident that I would achieve everything on it – I added in a little 10-minute task to start the day. I have been

Tuesday Chooseday

I am old fashioned and when it comes to getting things done, I am a fan of both a notebook and a list. As you can see from the photo, today has been a day of lists and a very productive one at that.  Posting on social media daily during June didn't give me much time to focus on anything else small business wise. I armed myself with coffee, water, all of the notebooks and a pen and started to get organised.  I started w

June Challenge - Complete

Image
June, I set myself the challenge of Raspberry Iguana posting on social media every day, currently Raspberry Iguana is on Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest and I did it! I posted 30 times on all three accounts with the exception of Pinterest which missed out on the ‘hope you are enjoying the sunshine’ post.  Impulsive as ever, I jumped two feet in and set the challenge on the evening of the 31 st  May which didn’t give me much time to prepare but equally not too much time to overthink it either. At this point I hadn’t told anyone about Raspberry Iguana on social media except my husband and this was how I left it for the first week. Even now, I still have only shared the pages with my immediate family because I wanted to complete the June challenge first, this may seem strange but my logic behind it is, when I do shout about their existence there will already be content there, the pages will look, fun, engaging and bright (hopefully) and give the audience a sense of what to expect from
